Analysis of the microlensing events towards the galactic bulge
On this side you can find all the data I used for my work about the "Analysis of the microlensing events towards the galactic bulge" and all the results. Abstract
The objective of this work was, to collect all observed microlensing events from the different collaborations OGLE, MACHO, MOA and EROS, to create a list of the useful data (a total number of 4162), and to analyse this collected data in consideration of the position and the timescale of the events.

Popowski et al. found that some fields contain a high number of long duration events. In this paper these MACHO fields with the numbers 104, 108, 113 and 402 are analysed with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov-statistics between the fields and all other events. No significant correlation in the spatial distribution of the events could be found. The hypothesis of Popowski et al. seems to be just a statistic fluctuation because of too few events available at that time.
In particular the duration distribution of the events was analysed. A marginal increase with the duration of about 55 days could be observed. This can be interpreted as been caused by a population of white dwarfs.
With this work and the procedure of selecting the usable events, a basis for further analyses is provided.
